Oh yeah. They're right there
to collect their dues. But how come you need three
part-time jobs to take the
place of the one good one you used to have? Where are they
when you need them? They
used to serve a purpose, and maybe one day they will again,
but now, for the most part
you can't tell the difference between a union executive and a
corporate executive. They
even play golf together, which is probably where most of the
behind-the-scenes deals are
made.
Sure. It looks great that
it's single digits, doesn't it? But is it the truth? Of
course not. The government
doesn't tell you how many have run out of benefits and
therefore are no longer counted.
If they can't find dirt, they
create it. Anything to sell a product. They give each
other awards for being the
best slanters of the truth and like wrestlers and boxers,
they wear tuxedos to their
awards ceremonies to give themselves an aura of
legitimacy.
There was a time when they
used to work for us. Some still do, but most of them
don't even pretend anymore.
They want loyalty, but they
won't give any.
Like politicians, Some good....but
most not.
By and large they do a great
job, but more often than not, their hands are tied by
politicians and judges.
It's interesting to note that
the most outspoken people who want to take away our
right to defend ourselves,
are those who themselves carry guns for protection, or
those who have bodyguards
with them wherever they go.
With laws increasingly favoring
government and big business, we're quickly getting to
where the rest of us don't
have a chance. Cigarettes kill hundreds of thousands of people
each year...but they are
legal. Alcohol kills thousands of people each year...but it is legal.
I could site other anomalies
but I want to get to the main point...GUNS, most of which gotten
through illegal means to
begin with, kill a few dozen people each year, but through the tacit
approval of big business
and the open approval of the government, the anti-gun lobbyists
are trying to make it illegal
for honest citizens to own any type of gun and certainly not be
allowed to carry one.
WHY??? My thoughts are that government and big business know that
we are being pushed to the
brink. They know that when companies are more and more often
laying off long-time employees
under the guise of downsizing, and then hiring new employees
for less money, and add to
that choking taxes and the outrageous cost of everyday living, so
that we have to have two
and sometimes three jobs just to make ends meet, we're near the
breaking point. They know
that when we are promised health care benefits and pensions for
the rest of our lives, and
then these things seem to fall by the wayside or don't meet today's
rising costs, then we are
reaching the breaking point. They know that when more and more
often health insurers refuse
treatment under the guise of experimentality, thereby letting our
loved ones die in order to
save a few dollars, we are reaching the breaking point. They know,
that it's only a question
of time until we do reach the breaking point and when the time comes,
they certainly don't want
us to have guns handy.
