Justice is blind
or so it used to seem
Fact is, however,
that justice is a has-been
Right is might
no longer applies
All the old values
are in demise
The media all
has brought this out
Commercialism's shout
is what it's all about
Half truths, no truths,
lies are in
Just watch TV
and see what I mean
Seeing is believing
OH YEAH?
To see the truth
would be really rare
The news is slanted
like a camera's angle
Disinformation abounds
we're left to dangle
Radio and TV
tell you half the story
Newspapers are no better
just more gory
Candidates for, and in, office
are liars and scoundrels
Their efforts against us
are absolutely boundless
In our courts the innocent are quick
to lose their liberty
For justice it seems
is only for the guilty
The perpetrators have
endless rights
While the victim is lost
in his own plight
Justice for all
aha, right on
From where I sit
it ends at the front lawn.
