Where Are We Going?

We're going through a time
of unforseen events
the outcome of which
our lives may depend

So much is happening
sometimes with the speed of lightning
that every moment
a change can bring

If we don't change our course
we know where it will end
and still we just go on
and pretend

There are those that say
the Lord will provide
they are the ones
that will not survive

Because the bible also says
the Lord helps those that help themselves
The one's that believe this
are the one's in whom fortune dwells.
